Arsenal Bottling The League Last Season Has Scarred Me For Life – Xhaka

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, Granit Xhaka has come out to say that he does not take his experience with Arsenal for granted. He recently revealed this despite Bayer Leverkusen’s 10-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the way Arsenal bottled the league last season has scarred him for life, so even if Leverkusen are sitting comfortably on top, nothing is won yet.

Xhaka added that ten points is still a lot in the Bundesliga when you have 10 games left.

His words, “We should be proud of our position but nothing is won yet – I am speaking from my own experience of last season [at Arsenal]. We had a similar points advantage over the team in second and we did not win the league, so I know this experience and I have shared it with the dressing room. Ten points is a lot when you have 10 games left, but there are still 30 points left to take so it is not over.”
