Trent Alexander-Arnold Didn’t Disrespect Manchester City – Klopp

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come to defend Trent Alexander-Arnold after he claimed that the Reds’ trophies mean more than Manchester City’s. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Trent definitely respects Manchester City despite what he said, and he only made that statement because trophies with Liverpool will always mean a lot to him.

Klopp added that MCFC has been the most successful English team in the last decade, so they deserve all the respect they can get.

His words, “I had a few people telling me what I should say (laughs). I am not sure how often in this club that we have to say how much we respect City. Pep is the best manager in the world. They have incredible players. At the moment they have the best No 9, Haaland, who scores when he wants. Kevin De Bruyne will go down in history with players like Steven Gerrard! Phil Foden, the best English player at the moment. We all respect that.
